While this game is absolutely beautiful, the puzzles and the bugs can easily make you drop the game, especially if you dislike that sort of puzzle.. Or are stuck because of a bug that prevents you to see anything else than one of the Gallery picture.
In the first part of that guide, I’ll explain how to deal with some of known bugs. If you run into a new one, don’t hesitate to drop a line here and tell me how you managed to correct it (if you found a way to).
The walkthrough will mostly focus on the puzzles and guide you to reach the good ending, neutral ending and bad ending for the two love interest.
Known Bugs
Currently the achievements don’t appear on Steam, the developer explained they were working during the closed beta, but not anymore after the full release. Despite the fact they stated they are working on a fix together with Steam, there is no update regarding this bug and the incoming fix since April 2019.
CG replacing the background
This one is particularly annoying as it prevents you to load or to save anything as the CG will replace the menu. This bug seems to happen with a specific CG you get at the end of the game and you start another game or load a save after finishing the game and having unlocked said CG.
The best way to get rid of this is to log out from your computer session and to log back in after. Quitting the game or Steam don’t work on their own. If the problem persists after logging off, try to restart.
If your skip is set on “Seen All” and you click on Skip while the next text hasn’t been seen, the skip mode will bug and no matter how many time you’ll click on the text, this one won’t change.
Click a second time on the Skip button to unlock the chat. When the skip mode is on, the triangle of the button are green, but the color difference is honestly hard to see, but that’s the reason why you’re stuck: The game can’t skip, yet keeps you in skip mode, preventing you to manually progress.
This bug happened to me only once, the chat box was empty and there was no choice for me to make. I could interact with the light in the room, but was stuck with the text not appearing.
First try to click on the skip button then back on the chat. Try that twice as you may not have been in skip mode yet it bugged you.
If it persists, try to launch one of the auto save (1st page of saves, the two at the bottom). I encourage you to try to use an automatic save or to load a previous save to get rid of that bug as even if you save and load back the save after quitting the game, your save will be bugged all the same.
If you have the feeling that you’re completely stuck during a puzzle and whatever you’re clicking on, the story doesn’t progress, it may be because you didn’t click on everything.
Check the puzzles walkthrough bellow to find the appropriate combination and order (when relevant) to make sure that you clicked everything. More precision will be given for each puzzle as I noticed they can bug in different points depending on the puzzle.
