For Hammerwatch players who are collecting Hard Lich Survival Achievement, this guide will show you how to defeat Lich, you will need 1-2 friends, the more the easier.

2nd) Farm 2k gold from the crystals as any class you want, I recommend playing paladin for the dodge spikes mechanic.Now this is the real tip, I did read you could invite a friend to the game, make him buy lives from the shop and then leave and rejoin and he will be treated as a new fresh toon, this is false in pc version (at least for me).So, what is the solution? Thanks to my friend Goldero we managed to survive for 20min straight then we were running out of lifes.
What could we do to keep going?
Invite a 3rd friend to the game! In our case, we had farmed around 18k crystals so he just joined our game. DavideElDivx joined our game bought 18 lifes then left. This made us possible to survive until lich spawned (we could also reinvite him, or invite another friend to the game). He could also rejoined to purchase 20 more lifes!!!!
If you have a 4th friend he can also buy more lifes and leave, a 5th…, a 6th…. endless lifes making the achievement much less harder.
Classes I recommend to do the challenge:
– Ranger is a must, (I died with my paladin we ran out of lives because we wanted to risk without asking for more lifes, the ranger can block the lich in place and dpsing from far away, will be a medium-long fight but if friends have already help you, you should be really strong.
– Paladin to lure the mobs into a corner closer to lich but using walls in a clever way.
– I guess any other class can be played too, but easier for me was the paladin-ranger combo.
