If you are new, and want to improve your score, check this guide out.
The guide will be updated as soon as possible, to include all the soldiers tiers, and maybe even a tier list for weapons for each faction.
Intro
If you’re just starting out, let me explain what the game offers, and how you can understand the difference between all the soldier classes and squads.
Currently, the game has 14 classes, most of which are divided into different ‘Class Levels’.
The classes are as follows:
Rifleman
- The basic soldier in your army
- Can use semi-automatic rifles and bolt action rifles
Mortarman
- The least useful class imo
- Can use semi-automatic rifles and bolt action rifles
- Can also use a mortar as a secondary weapon. Not the most effective weapons, because you want to go in the heat of battle to get the most score.
Sniper
- Good situational soldier
- Can use all the weapons a rifleman can use, with the addition of scoped weapons. There are some good semi-automatic scoped weapons towards the end of each nation/faction research.
AT Gunner
- The tank destroyer
- Can use all the weapons a rifleman can use
- Additionally, can use an anti-tank weapon, which can offer you a better range as an infantry to destroy enemy tanks. Destroying vehicles offer you more points than just killing soldiers.
Assaulter
- The best soldier for low/close range combat
- Can use semi-automatic and bolt action rifles + SMGs
[IMPORTANT] Engineer
- Literally the most important soldier that must be present in any non-vehicle squad you have.
- Can use all the weapons a rifleman can use, with the addition of shotguns
- Has the construction hammer. This tool is the miracle of winning matches, because you can build rally points, which act as a respawn point for your entire team.
Gunner
- The ‘medium range assaulter’
- Can use all the weapons a rifleman can use with the addition of machine guns.
Medic
- The ‘Tier 1’ Assaulter. Literally. Darkflow replaced Assaulter 1 Soldiers with Medics.
- Can use semi-automatic rifles and bolt action rifles
Radio Operator
- The artillery caller.
- Can use all weapons a rifleman can use.
- Has the radio tool, which you can use to call in artillery strikes down on the map.
Flametrooper
- The PYRO
- Can use semi-automatic rifles and bolt action rifles
- Can also use a flamethrower, which is a cool way of burning down your enemies and laughing at them dancing whilst being hot af.
Motorcyclist, a.k.a. Rider
- The asaulters that know how to drive motorcycles
- Can use all the weapons an Assaulter can use.
- Has perks that improve their driving of vehicles.
Tanker
- The Mechanic 😀
- Can all the weapons the Assaulter can use.
- Has perks that improve their tank performance. (Driving, Reloading etc.)
[IMPORTANT] APC Driver
- The motorcyclist but for APCs
- Can all the weapons the Assaulter can use.
- Has perks that improve their driving.
- Another important soldier, because they are only found in APC squads, which offer your team a mobile spawn point.
Pilot
- The aces in the sky
- Can all the weapons the Assaulter can use.
- Has perks that improve their plane performance.
TLDR:
For most squads, the most important soldiers are engineers (one is enough), followed by one radio operator, one anti-tank, and assaulters, as many assaulters as you can fit.
Use cases of each soldiers:
Spawn in with the engineer, reach a good place for a rally point, preferably flanking the enemy.
Build a rally point, maybe even a ammo box.
Call in artillery on where you believe most enemies are. Usually between their spawn and the objective, or straight on the objective if it’s not a building.
Switch to assaulter, order your squad somewhere safe, by pressing X.
Rush the point. Get killz. Die. Repeat with the next soldier.
If tank, then AT Gunner -> Tank go boom. Score go brrr.
Also, a good choice is to grind up untill you get one APC squad, after which you can just use that squad to get more points by having the APC in a good spot for your teammates to spawn.
