Here is a walkthrough of the game which will also gain you every achievement.
- Notes
- We will list all dialogue options as a way to confirm you’re on the right track.
- In the first part of the guide we will really describe all movements as the house has many sides. Later on we will be more casual describing where to go.
- A lot of times objects need to be interacted with first before you can use inventory items on it, such as locked doors or unreachable objects.
- Try to follow the guide thoroughly, we interact with all objects needed, even if they don’t seem as important. They need to be interacted with/inspected to use codes etc later on.
- Hover over the inventory (top of screen) and right click to examine an inventory object
- The game has many save files to use
Walkthrough
Back out, turn the the right twice to see an open door.
Click on the chair with the phone
Go forward twice, you will get a text to meet George
Walk into the living room, turn to the left twice and go forward to exit the building.
Click on “George the cleaner”
Talk to George
– Tell me about your problem
– I haven’t heard of that family
– Have you talked to the police?
– Who are the members of this family?
– Do you have any theory about what might have happened to them?
– Excellent. I’ll get back to you later.
Go to the Stierngranat House
The Stierngranat family’s house
You’ve unlocked the Stierngranat Family’s House.
Move forward once and go right, try the door; its closed.
Click left twice and move forward to the fireplacae area
Click on the table on the right and examine the book
Exit out, go forward move to the right to inspect the fireplace.
Open the box on the left and pick up the key.
Exit out again and move forward.
Turn to the right and move forward to the window.
Turn to the right again and move forwards twice to the kitchen
Turn to the right, forward and to the left, forward twice and turn to the left to face a door.
Open it to get into a messy room. Click on the upper shelf with the red bag.
Back out, exit the room and turn around to face another door. Try it, it’s locked. Use the key on it.
Inside, turn to the right and open the cabinet.
Pick up the pliers behind the dish brush.
Exit the room the way you came in, turn to the left, go forward twice, to the left, forward twice, to the left twice and up the stairs.
Move forward and go to the right into a room with red curtains.
Move to the right, go forwards twice towards the bed.
Click to the right twice, go forward once, left and forward until you reach a brownish curtain.
Click to the right 3 times, move forward, right and interact with the phone.
Back out, turn to the right, move forward, turn to the right, forward, left, forward twice, left to see a pink cabinet
Click it, open it and find a mini flashlight.
Back out twice, turn to the right go forward towards the window.
Turn to the right twice, move forward twice, to the right and forward towards a shelf.
Click on the weirdly shaped brown object. Try to pick it up, your hand is too big.
Use the pliers on the objects that’s in it. It’s a key.
Turn to the left, go forward once, turn to the left to face a closed door. Click it and try to turn the screw, you don’t know the solution yet.
Turn around and go downstairs.
When fully downstairs, turn to the right twice, move forward once and turn to the right.
Use the new key on the door and use your flashlight. Pick up the brown wallet and the paper inside.
Go back upstairs to the door you previously clicked.
Click on:
Bottom right screw, top left screw, left bottom screw, top right screw.
Inside, turn to the right and pick up the ladder.
Turn to the right once more, move forward and to the left and pick up a piece of paper. Go all the way back downstairs to the front door.
When you are at the front door, turn right twice, go forward twice and go to the right into the hallway, back to the messy room.
Use the ladder in this room, click it and open the silver tin box.
Click on the buttons in the following order:
Top right, bottom right, bottom left, top left.
Open the gift wrap; you should see a picture inside. click it.
Back out twice and go to the front door to exit to the map.
Go to George the cleaner
Talk to George
– Do you know where Martin, Carin’s boyfriend, lives?
– That is extremely helpful, thanks!
You will now be in a bedroom.
Turn to the right, pick up the envelop on the nightstand and open it. This will add a new area to the map.
Turn around and exit the room.
Go to Stina’s store
– No thanks. That fermented herring from Midsummer’s Eve is still working its way up again.
– Have you heard of The Blood Falls?
– What do you mean I’m getting old?
– I remember that. It must be that artificial waterfall.
A new area will be added to the map.
Go to The Blood Falls.
The Blood Falls
You’ve unlocked the Blood Falls.
Move forward 3 times. Go to the left. Forward past the slippery warning. Right around the corner and all the way forward till you can go down the stairs at the left. After the first set of stairs, turn to the left to see a wooden box.
Inspect it to find a USB stick and pick it up. Move all the way back to the entrance to exit this area.
Go to Home
Move forward twice, to the left and click on the laptop.
Use the USB on the laptop. Click on the pictures until she says “It looks like I have to get there at night”.
Back out and exit the building to the map.
Go to The Blood Falls.
Move all the way to the spot you were before until you see different colours.
Take a picture and head back to the entrance to access the map.
Go to Home.
Move forward twice, then to the right, enter through the door and sleep.
The next day
Turn to the left, pick up the bag hanging on the door. Turn to the left, go forward twice and exit to map.
Go to Martin’s room.
Go forward, move to the right and click under the bed.
Look at the photograph and click the colours in order (Black, blue, red, yellow).
Open the paper. Back out and you will get a text message.
When you see the sky, back out.
Move to the left twice, walk towards the hammock and pick up the key.
Move to the left, forward and right towards the door. Use the key on the door.
Move to the right once, forward twice and left once to exit to the map.
Go to Stina’s Store.
– What do you know about this Malte Stierngranat?
– Nothing else?
– Thank you Stina. I’ll see you soon
A new area will be added to the map.
Go to The Barn
The Barn
You’ve unlocked the Barn.
Move to the right, forward, to the left, forward twice to the broken shed.
Inside, move to the right and pick up the rake.
Move to the right. Go forward three times. Go to the right to the door and enter the barn.
Move towards the trailer and inspect the fingerprint powder on the ground next to it.
Back out and turn around to exit the barn.
Dialogue will say to check on Martin’s room and a new area will be added to the map, go forward twice to exit.
Go to George the Cleaner
– Have you heard from the Stierngranat family recently?
– Thank you. Can I see his room again?
– Thank you George
Inside Martin’s room
Move to the left and open the wardrobe. Click on the blue coat. A new area will be added to the map.
Back out through the door to exit to the map.
Go to Monica
– I believe that you were familiar with Martin Jensen
– I’m sorry about that. How did Martin make contact with the Stierngranat family? (A new area will be added to the map)
– Did he do some other type of work?
– You’ve been a great help. Thank you.
Go to The Church Museum
Go to the left, forward to the door. Click on the keypad.
Type in: 6910
Enter and go forward. Look at the sign.
Turn to the left, go forward twice, left twice and inspect the painting.
Exit the painting
Leave this room and go all the way forward.
Turn to the left and look at the sign, a new area will be added to the map.
Move back to the exit but before leaving check the shelf on the left
Click the paper on the top shelf and pick up the domino next to it.
Move it a few times until she says “I think I should take a picture of this”.
Examine the paper bag on the ground and the paper inside.
Exit out the door, go forward, to the right and exit to the map.

The School Museum
You’ve unlocked the School Museum.
Go to the left brown door
Use the keypad and type: 6345
Enter the door,
(into the left doorway, go to the right, go all the way forward, then to the right again.)?
Go to the right, forward and to the right again into the kitchen.
Examine the bin to find a postard. Flip it to read the background and exit.
Exit the house again?? I don’t understand what we did here.
Go to George the Cleaner
– Do you know if Carin has a studio somewhere?
– What kind of studio?
– Couldn’t her father give her a studio?
– Do you know where he is? (A new area will be added to the map)
– You’re an invaluable help, thanks.
Go to Carin’s Studio
Move forward, to the left and enter the door.
Move forward to the desk move to the right and click the paper on the books.
Click on the green note to get a new location on the map
Exit the area and go to The Sonic Forge on the map.
The Sonic Forge
You’ve unlocked the Sonic Forge.
Go forward 3 times, go to the left and forward to the purple graffiti.
Turn left and inspect the gears on the table. Pick up Martins recorder behind them.
Exit the area again and go to the map.
Go to The Barn
Go forward twice, turn to the left, forward and enter the door on the left.
Go forward, look to the left, pick up the ladder on the ground.
Turn left, forward twice, left twice and put the ladder against the wall and go up.
Try to pick up the object ahead but it’s too far away. Use the rake on the object.
Go back down the stairs, through the door. Go forward, turn to the right.
Pick up the wallet, inspect it.
This will add a new location to the map.
Exit the area back to the map.
Go to The Malte Stierngranat Museum
The Malte Stierngranat Museum
You’ve unlocked the Malte Stierngranat Museum.
Go to the right 3 times, click on the paper, this area will open later.
Back out, go to the right, forward into the museum move left, forward and inspect the paper on the left
Open the book in the middle of the screen and flip through the pages.
Go to the right twice, forward, right and upstairs.
Forward, left, forward and click on the photos on the wall
Turn to the left, forward and left again.
Turn to the left and click on the book to the right of the door. Skip through the pages; this will
add a new area to the map.
Turn to the left, inspect the brochure on the bench and flip through it. This is required to open the door downstairs.
Go downstairs again and through the door opposite of the stairs.(that was closed before)
Turn to the right and pick up the brochure. Flip through it to add a new area to the map.
Exit the building and go to the map
Go to The Johansson Peak
The Johansson Peak
You’ve unlocked Johansson Peak.
Move up the stairs 3 times. When you reach the road go forward once more.
Turn to the left, forward twice and to the left 3 times. Inspect the sign.
Back out. Go to the right three times, forward, and right so you see a yellow red sign and a white building.
Forward, left, forward twice, left to a statue of a man laying, look at the brochure next to it, and zoom in on the magnetic card the man is holding in the picture. This is needed for a later step.
Back out, turn right, forward thrice (past bench with people) right to an empty bench.
Pick up magnetic card on ground. Go all the way back to the exit, to the map.
Go to Carin’s studio.
Go forward, left, into her room.
Turn left and click closer on the Hole Puncher and pick it up. Use it on the magnetic card in inventory.
Exit back to the map.
Go to The Johansson Peak
Go forward and all the way back to the statues sitting on a bench. Go towards the wooden boat.
Click on the keypad and use the magnetic card on it. Type: 2504
Inside; turn to the left and inspect the blue poster to get a new area on the map.
Go all the way back to the exit to the map.
The Saint Maria Church
You’ve unlocked the Saint Maria Church.
Go forward twice, inspect the text on the wall.
Go all the way forward to the altar then turn left and go into the little room.
Turn to the right and inspect the paper on the table. Flip the page and click on the car picture so
Carol says “I wonder where this car graveyard is?”
Exit back to the door but before leaving turn to the right
Pick up the brochure here, flip through it and back out. You should receive a text message and a new
area will be added to the map. Exit the area and go to the map.
Go to Jonas
– Make it a straight one, please.
– I’m sorry but I don’t have the time. I’m so caught up in this investigation.
– Actually, it does.
– I’m looking forward to it.
– You should really shave more often.
– You don’t happen to know anything about a “car graveyard”? (A new area will be added to the map)
– Thank you Jonas. See you soon.
Go to The Car Graveyard
The car graveyard
You’ve unlocked the Car Graveyard.
Keep going forward. Carol will comment that she isn’t suited to walk around in mud.
Turn around and exit to map.
Go to The Sonic Forge
Go forward twice then left. Click on the crate on the left.
Pick up the oil. Exit to the map.
Go to The Allotment
Right, forward twice, right. Use the oil on the door.
Inside the house turn right and pick up the boots. Exit back to the map.
Go to The Car Graveyard
Go forward twice and use the boots on the ground. Continue forward twice.
Turn to the left and inspect the car.
Turn to the right and continue forward 3 times, turn right to see a house. Go forward.
Turn left and enter the house.Turn right and pick up the crowbar.
Turn right, forward to exit the building. Go right, forward, right, forward, left.
Inspect the wreckage to find a hammer.Back out and turn right twice.
Move forward to the red building. Open the door on the left. Pick up the tire.
Back out and enter the right door.Turn the right and inspect the old bag, open it to find a knife.
Back out and also inspect the brown wallet on the right of the bag and the paper inside.
Exit the building and go all the way back to the exit, to the map.
Go to The Sonic Forge
Go forward 4 times, then left. Then forward and left again.
Click on the door with a broken window, and use the crowbar on it.
Once inside, turn to the left and inspect the box of cables. Pick up the audio cable.
Use the audio recorder (Martin’s record) in inventory on the cable.
Turn right and open the door.Turn left and inspect the bottom of the file cabinet.
Check the documents there.
This will add a new area to the map. Go back to the exit, to the map.
Go to Emhart Zurich

You’ve found Emhart Zurich.
– What was your relationship with Erik?
– So you knew Martin Jensen?
– What was your impression of him?
– Would you mind if I took a look at that cabin? (A new area will be added to the map)
– You don’t happen to know the whereabouts of the Stierngranats?
– You’ve been very helpful.
Go to Radiot’s cabin
Enter the door.
– I’m doing some… research. Emhart wsa going to talk to you.
– If you just let me in, I can handle that myself.
– I don’t think I’ll have the time for chores…
– I’m your man. (A new area will be added to the map)
– Consider that list retrieved.
Go to The Sister’s house
Enter the door. Go forward twice to the living room.
Turn right twice, inspect the drawer to find a key. Close the drawer and back out.
Turn right three more times and enter the kitchen.
Go forward and through the door to get outside.
Move towards the shed and open it with the key we found on the lock.
Click on the paper on the right, on top of the brown cloth.
Return back into the house and to the main door, turn right twice and head upstairs.
Upstairs turn to the right twice and go into the bedroom.
Turn to the left 2 times to see the nightstand
Click on the box in the nightstand. Click on the paper in your inventory to see the pattern you have to recreate.
Click them in this order:
Pick up the key inside. Go back outside the kitchen, when you’ve set your first step outside, turn left and use the key on the door. Inspect the bin to find the chore list.
Go all he way back to the exit to get back to the map.
Go to Radiot’s cabin
Enter the door
– I sure did. Here it is.
Go forward into the right room. Turn to the right to the tv. Inspect the cards on the table and flip it over. and pick up the drawing. Back out.
Turn right once more to face the door. Pick up the key on the left.
Go forward twice, then turn left to face a brown door. Try to open it and then use the key to open it. Go upstairs.
Turn to the right once and inspect the paper on the drawer.
Go back downstairs, outside and left to exit to the map.
Go to Home
Turn to the right, enter the door, turn to the right once more and pick up the tablet, turn it on.
Go to sleep.
When you wake up turn left twice and exit out the room. Turn to the right and enter the pantry. Pick up the flashlight. Back out.
Go into the living room and to the laptop. Use Martins Record with the cable on the laptop.
After the recording stops, back out. pick it up again and exit to the map.
Go to Martin’s room
Turn to the left, open the drawer and move the clothes to the side.
Interact with the hidden hatch.
Use the hammer on the hatch. Open it, click on the darkness and use your flashlight on it.
Go inside, turn to the left once till you see a ladder. Climb it.
Inspect the box, click on the triangles in the following order:
Left bottom, middle right and top triangle. Pick up the key.
Exit to the map again.
Go to The Malte Stierngranat Museum
Turn to the right twice and use the new key on the door near the stairs.
Once inside; inspect the paper on the left.
Exit map to map
Go to The School Museum
Enter the left door. Go forward and then left.
Go left to a board with numbers. Take a photo of it.
Exit back to the map.
Go to Carin’s studio
Go into her room, walk forward once and then turn to the left and click on the box on the right.
Some spots have an asterisk. Click on top right asterisk, 2nd row asterisk, bottom one and top left one to open the box.
Open and read the letter, flip through the pages till you reach red text. Then flip again and pick up the photo and then back out.
Exit back to the map.
Go to The Saint Maria Church
Go forward 5 times, turn to the left, forward and right
Inspect the picture, and go outside to map
Go to The Car Graveyard
Go forward to the broken car we inspected before. Use the knife on the seating and pick up the key. Go back to exit to the map.
Go to The Pyramid
The Pyramid
You’ve unlocked the Pyramid.
Go forward 3 times, left, forward till you reach a fence.
Forward to the door of the pyramid. Use the key from before on the door.
Click on the 5 dots on the top. The code is 51432
Go to Malte’s Train Wagon
Malte’s Train Wagon
You’ve unlocked Malte’s Train Wagon.
Try to go up on the wagon, you can’t.
Use the tire on the wagon to get up.
Turn to the left, go forward twice and turn to the right. Pick up the screwdriver.
Exit back to the map.
Go to The Pyramid
Go all the way back into the pyramid forward to the gold plaques.
Use the screwdriver on the empty one on the left, bottom right.
Flip this one around to reveal Martin’s name. Back out.
After this you will get a text message
