Lovely Planet 2: April Skies – 100% Achievements Guide

For every level there are 3 stars. To get the Ace achievements, you need to get all 3 stars for each level. These can be gotten all at once or individually.

The three stars:
Blue: Get it for just completing a level
Red: Get it by beating the level with the “Q” time. This can be checked when you enter a level. It will show you time followed by a “Q”. If it shows “PB” instead, hit space to toggle to “Q” time.
Yellow: Get it by getting 100% accuracy. Not all enemies need to be hit in order to complete a level. (More details later)

Unlike Lovely Planet 1, Lovely Planet 2 doesn’t really have very short level par times or very difficult shot to make to get 100% accuracy, so this guide won’t cover how to get them for each level. If you have trouble with time or accuracy, see the Movement section.

If you are missing stars after completing a world, and you got the stars in every level, then you missed the secret levels. See Secrets Introduction for more info.

The movement in this game is a lot more forgiving that Lovely Planet 1, no dealing with triangles for getting OOB. You can walk and jump on any surface. It is so forgiving that you can jump up a near vertical wall (holding space to auto jump helps).

This game also has strafe walking (is this the right term?). Strafe walking is when you walk by pressing 2 directions at once, as long as they don’t cancel out. So if you press forward and right you will move faster, you just need to turn and walk diagonally. This can be very helpful if you need that extra bit of speed for the speed star, getting a faster time, or jumping farther. This may be bug and patched out latter, but since it is a very well known bug to any game dev, it’s probably intentional.

In you completed a world and are still missing some stars, then you are missing the secret levels. If you go back to level select then you may notice that there are some levels that are skipped. This is a hint that there is a secret in the level just before the skipped level.

To get to the secret level you need to find and shoot the civilians that are green. They are located off the regular level path.

Shooting it will bring you to a secret level after a delay (don’t die or the level will reset).

In each secret level there will be either a item you need to find for an achievement or a small green civilian (not sure if there is always one or the other). Shooting the small green civilian will bring you to a Legacy Level.

They can be very tricky to find so keep an eye out! Look behind things, on top of things, or inside red blobs.

For the secret items, you just need to walk up to it to get the achievement for it since you can’t collect it.

On top of the flat hill with a blue fence and nail polish. Make sure to not shoot the civilian that is also up there.

Instead of going on the bounce pad, go left to find the tiny guy.

3-3
Access from 3-2.
Behind the goal. You can jump onto and climb the hill behind and to the right to get to it.
3-3 (Legacy)
On top of the flat hill with the katana in front of you at the start of the level.

3-5
Access from 3-4.
Jump through the CD on the left at the start of the level.
3-5 Secret (The Sushi)
At the start of the level, jump over the hill on the left.

3-7
Access from 3-6.
At the start of the level, behind the cell phone on the left.
3-7 Secret (Legacy)
The tiny guy is on top of the gun that you can see from the start of the level. To get to it, shoot the teleporter guy in front of you then strafe walk onto the terrain in front of you. Then climb the hill right in front of you to see the tiny guy. You need to jump to get a good angle to shoot the tiny guy.

3-14
Access from 3-13.
Behind the goal.
3-14 Secret (Legacy)
By the goal, there are a bunch of red blobs. Shoot them to find the hidden tiny guy.

3-16
Access from 3-15.
On top of the flat hill with the gun. You can easily climb it at the start of the level. The hill you need to climb is directly to the left at the start of the level.

Access from 4-3.
Instead of going through the teleporter, jump onto the platform behind it.

Access from 4-5.
Behind the fence to the left of the goal.
4-6 Secret (The Nailpolish)
After you go through the teleporter, turn around and you will see a blue platform. Jump onto it, then to the nailpolish.

4-9
Access from 4-8.
Instead of going through the teleporter, jump onto the hill behind it. You should be able to see the green guy.

Access from 4-11.
At the goal, go right and jump down.
4-12 Secret (The CD)
At the start, climb the flat hill to the right.

5-2
Access from 5-1.
Instead of jumping down to the goal, climb over the hill to the right before the jump down. On the other side is the green guy. Be careful not to get smooched by love angels.
5-2 Secret (Legacy)
Stand just before the bounce pad and face the goal. Turn left and go in between the two tall hills to find the tiny guy.

5-4
Access from 5-3.
At the start of the level, behind the red list to the left.
5-4 Secret (The Phone)
At the start of the level, jump up and instead of going left to the bounce pad, go right and jump down to find The Phone.

5-6
Access from 5-5.
At the second bounce pad, instead of going towards the goal, go right to find the green guy.
5-6 Secret (Legacy)
At the start, you should see a bounce pad, a civilian, and a blue fence. Behind the blue fence is the tiny guy.

5-8
Access from 5-7.
At the start of the level, turn left and walk through the crack.
5-8 Secret (The Chopsticks)
After you jump down to the goal, turn around and walk towards the yellow monitor. Jump down to find The Chopsticks.

5-14
Access from 5-13.
After the teleporter guy, you should see a love angel on top of a flat hill. Climb it and on the other side is the green guy.
5-14 Secret (Legacy)
At the first apple, you should see some stairs. Turn left and jump down to find the tiny guy.

5-18
Access from 5-17.
At the CD, follow the edge of the flat hill to the left to find the green guy.
5-18 Secret (Legacy)
Before you go on the bounce pad, turn around and look up. You should see a blue platform and directly under it two blobs. The tiny guy is hidden in these blobs.

5-24
Access from 5-23.
After the first love angel, you should see a blue fence. Jump over it to find the green guy. Be careful not to get smooched by the second love angel or teleport away.
5-24 Secret (Legacy)
At the start of the level you should see pink bowtie. Jump behind it and down to find the tiny guy.

5-29
Access from 5-28.
After the first apple, climb over the hills to the right of the blue platforms.
5-29 Secret (Legacy)
Behind the fan at the start.

5-32
Access from 5-31.
At the start of the level, there is a baddie. Behind the baddie there is terrain that sticks out. Jump onto it and continue walking until you see the green guy.
5-32 (Legacy)
At the start of the level, jump onto the fan then the hill in front of you. You should see a rocket ship. The tiny guy is on top of it.
