Are you experiencing such incredible low framerates that it literally becomes unplayable, even though you have a good pc? Worry no more, I might have a fix for you.
NOTE: It doesn’t work for Nvidia cards
Why the low framerate?
If you’re using Nvidia and you’re still experiencing low framerate, then sorry this guide won’t be of any help.
Here’s what to do:

After downloading, open it, press any key to continue, select “[1]Run Generator”, then select your Windows Version 1=64, 2=32
If selecting 1 doesn’t work for you even though you’re using 64-bit windows, then select 2 instead, that should work too.
Next a little window will open. Open the drop-down list and select Nvidia GTX 460 (unfortunately that’s the best Nvidia card this program can offer). Click Generate DLL.
Copy the d3d9.dll file you generated (found in the same folder as the generator), find The Amazing Spider-Man folder and paste it inside.
Next while you’re into the Spider-man folder, rename ASMLauncher to something else, then rename the Game file to ASMLauncher.
Now you should be good to go. This fix doesn’t get rid of the low framerate entirely but it will rarely go under 50 fps, which is way more manageable than before.

hello why i downloaded and when i put 1 and then put 32 bit which is 2 its just showing me the start menu agan
run as admin and retry

It won’t generate the D3D9 file. Is there anything else to try? Any file I can just download or edit or something? I swear, I can’t move on from this game without playing it but rn it’s unplayable. Like seriously, the fram rate is so all over the place that I get a headache from the little that I’ve played it.

bro delete the file in the game which is names as video detector.dll it working fine after deleting tis file try once
