Pleh! BIOSener Complete Usage Guide.

WARNING: This does have spoilers for Pleh!, it’s ARG and Transcript 10.

BIOSener is an application made to “Hack games in Unity”, however this only works for Pleh! Benji (or BenjiSlayer) is a friend of the developer who you hear in Pleh!, and they worked on a small game for a game jam called “Click!” together. BIOSener is used to hack into the game files for Pleh!, where the story about the developer and his secrets are being hidden away.

To get BIOSener, you first of all need to get Transcript 10, which can be done by opening up the game after completing it. Go through this section, and you will receive Transcript 10. To access these, you need to go to the directory of the Pleh! game files. If you do not know where this is, this link will help you find it.[savelocation.net]

Once you have arrived there, you will see a new folder called “Transcripts”. This is where all your transcripts are located. Open up Transcript 10, and at the top of page 3, you will see a section of the Transcript reading as followed.

“These things take time, I don’t know yet, but even though it’s a small jam it probably won’t do very well. Still, you can play it on my itch it’s called click.”

Now this section is the key to getting BIOSener. Navigate to itch.io and search “Click!”. This will bring you to a page full of games called Click!. You are looking for the one made by BLAZE42 (the developer). In the description of the game, you will see a page where it states who created the game. You now need to click on “Benji”.

You will then be navigated to https://benjislayer.itch.io/. You will then see another game, below “Click”. This is BIOSener. Press on it, and download the BIOSener.config file. Once you have got BIOSener, place it in the folder where Pleh.exe is located. Launch Pleh! back up, and hold down F2.

If you have done this right, you should be greeted with a developer console, and an achievement called “BIOSener test achievement”, this is when you know BIOSener has installed successfully.

There are commands that need to be used in the BIOSener console to progress with the ARG, here is a table below of all the commands and what they do. These are accessible also by inputting “help” into the console input.
